Mechanic / Mechanic Helper

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as either a Mechanic or a Mechanic Helper. The ideal candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment, with the opportunity to grow and develop within our company.

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Order and replace parts as necessary.
• Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and helpers.
• Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies.

Mechanic Helper Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Prepare and maintain work areas and tools.
• Transport tools, parts, and equipment between work areas.
• Clean and organize the workshop.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the mechanics or supervisor.

Qualifications:

For Mechanic:

• Proven experience as a mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in mechanics or automotive technology is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

For Mechanic Helper:

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
