Beneficiary Attendant

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Beneficiary Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance, including helping residents in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Monitor and record residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the administration of medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including tidying living areas and changing bed linens.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met.
• Follow care plans and report any concerns or incidents to supervisors.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a nursing assistant or similar qualification (e.g., PAB/PSW certification).
• Previous experience in a healthcare or residential care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Ability to lift and move residents safely.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
